Can you tell me about your location shoots?
Location shoots are typically done outdoors or at homes with abundant natural light. Outdoor shoots take place either early in the morning or before dusk when there is no harsh sunlight. Times for indoor shoots vary depending upon the amount of natural light at a particular location.

What kind of clothing should we wear for our shoot?
Casual, simple clothing in solid colors works photographs. Clothing with texture (i.e. denim, knit, fleece) photographs beautifully in black and white. Prints, logos, and prominent designs on clothing should be avoided.

What is important to know about photographing children?
The most important factor in a location with children is choosing a place where the child is comfortable and relaxed. The child’s home is usually the best spot for young children. Shoots for children should be scheduled at a time when the children are well rested and well fed. If a child has a bump, scratch or bruise on his or her face it is best to reschedule because these show in sharp close ups.
